when i purchased my 07 street glide i purchased it with spoke wheels, and i am thinking about changing just the front wheel to a 21" wire wheel....any suggestions of wheel company i should go with....and should i change the rear....or if you have done this to your bike could you post some pictures, much appreciated....
My buddy just scored a set of 21 - 16 on ebay, he is having tires put on them this weekend, not sure when he wants to put them on the bike. I could post pics if he does it this week.
I was looking at doing what you are talking about before I got the wheels I did. the biggest problem when I was looking was that no one makes a laced wheel that matches the profile rim that Harley sells with the SG, you would need to buy both to match. With that said, American wheel http://www.americanwire.com/
had the best wire wheels IMO, they also make tubeless wire wheels. Now what made me go to the mag wheels is the fact that I put on a lot of miles and the mags are easier to clean, their tubeless, and less maintance.
