had pigs on my 05rkc cant tell ya about 1.75 baffle though had 3 inch in mine way loud haedaches after 4 or 5 hours on the highway didnt even know they had 1.75 thought they started at 2.5 up to 3.5
I installed my wild pigs today and they do sound great. A big improvement over stock. I do have a quick question, I see the small screw that I assume holds the baffles in place, but it is not atatched to the baffle. The baffle seems to be much farther back. Is the screw removed then the baffle is allowed to slide by? I have the straight cut pipes. Thanks in advance from any pig owners.
I had the wild pis on my 06 Ultra for about 1 month....they souded ok, but I sue like the Vance & Hines ovals ALOT better...a much deeper rumble. JMO
I put a 200 watt amp under my faring. Now I can have the best of both worlds. Loud tunes and loud exhaust. Get an amp and loud pipes you'll be super happy.
What kind of amp did you install?
What kind of speakers? I've already got the Hogtune speakers and guess I might go for the amp if it is a major improvement?
I have a 04 RK with the Wild Pig 1.75 baffles. They are louder than stock. They are also a little louder than the Screaming Eagle touring mufflers. I re-wrapped the baffle this winter with MX fiberglass and I swear the tune of the pipe got a little deeper. Either way, they sound great and are not obnoxious. And you really can't beat the price!
Love the difference with my pigs. Have 1-1/2" baffles on mine and the sound is just great. Nice rumble and roars when you call them up to do so. Great price same effect as many costing 2 and 3 times as much.
