I have a 06 Road King and am considering a pair of Wild Pig slipons. They have the 1.75 baffles. My question to pig owners is how much louder are they than stock pipes? Thanks for any help. I live in a small town, no bikes around for comparison.
i have the rolling thunder slip ons with 1.75 baffles louder than stock,i have a radio so i didn't want them too loud, check out their website rollingthunderpipes.com they have different sizes of baffles you can chose from and for the $$$ you might want to think of these.
I have the Pigs on my 07 Road Glide. I am vary happy with them. Under 3K RPMs they have a nice rumble, over 3K and you know they are there. They also look just like the V&H muffler. For the money they are a great muffler
I know some of the exhaust systems have audio files you can actually listen to, but can't seem to find any for Wild Pigs. Can anyone steer me in the right direction if they are out there?
I have an '07 EGC. Wild Pigs sound awsome on mine. I replace the crap Screaming Eagle exhaust it came with. They were so quiet I sounded like a Honda. I bought the Pigs off e-bay for $150.00. They have that nice Harley sound without being too loud so I can still hear the radio.
I put a 200 watt amp under my faring. Now I can have the best of both worlds. Loud tunes and loud exhaust. Get an amp and loud pipes you'll be super happy.
+1 for the Wild Pigs. Had them for about a year on my '06 EG Classic (also 1 3/4" baffles), and love them. As others said, nice deep rumble, but not obnoxious. Sound great when you put some coal to them. By coincidence, I'm sitting here wearing my Wild Pigs T-shirt (free with order on eBay).
+2 had them on my 07 SG before I went with tru duals --- love the sound, price and thequality was excellent
