Been lurking around since the end of '07 and finally took delivery of my '08 RKC (White Gold Pear/Black Pearl). Aside from a set of Rush slip-ons and passenger backrest/luggage rack the bike is stock. Since the wife didn't find out I was buying a Harley until she saw me pulling in the driveway with it, it will probably remain that way for some time. [sm=icon_beat.gif]

Congrats brother -
I wil tell you what - that takes some big ol' nutters to go do that without momma's 'thumbs-up'.
If I went and did something like that she would divorce my *** & then want the bike in the settlement just for spite.
I'm a big fan of "beg forgivness or ask permission' thing - but that might just get my *** shot with my own gun.
When I first told mine that I was gonna buy a HD she didn't take me seriously.A few weeks later I rolled in w/my 06 RKC and she was like,"You bought a Harley and didn't discuss it w/me."My reply was "I told you,you just didn't listen to me".Yea,she had the face on for a few days but she got over it.And now she thinks it beautiful and knows how much it means to me.She's cool w/it now.Good luck w/the new member of the family!
Welcome, and congrtas on your new Road King.
Get the wife some leathers, take her for a ride and you may find yourself
spending alot of time shopping for new bling for your new bike.
Enjoy it!!
