Been there n done that.....Last week at dealer ALL 10-12 bikes had huge gap in visor ring.

All I did to get mine to fit properly was toss the original ring in the trash, make a few bends to expand light bulb mounting ring and then install the new ring over it.....It fits flawlessly and very tight.

No problems installing the visor trim rings. And no gap at all. Have had the visor headlight trim ring on three different bikes and never had a gap.

Headwinds makes the nicest one, but it's almost $400.00.[sm=insomnia.gif]

I'm gonna be installing the auxillary lights on my SG and putting visor rings on headlight, spotlights, and turn signals. I've read a lot here about the HD visor ring being a pain. I've heard Kuryakyn makes one that is better, but I can't find it on the Kury sight. Anybody got one? Pics? Any info on where to look is appreciated.
I got mine (Frenched trim rings) from Custom Chrome.
Good quality and no gap.

Are you talking about the Custom Chrome version? I don't believe Kuryakyn makes trim rings. If you are... I got one because of all the bad press the HD visor ring was getting. The CC ring is a different design. It's a solid ring, so there is no gap to speak of. I've got it installed along with the HD passing and turn rings. They look fine together, but I think I still prefer the look of the HD headlight ring when it's installed without the gap... it sticks out much farther than the CC and gives more of a frenchedlook.
