I just bought a very cool fairing for my wife's Road King Classic from: wideopencustoms.com. It goes on directly in place of the windshield in the same mounts. I need to move the running lights into the forward position as is done with the Electra Glides. I could not find out any information in the 2005 HD Touring shop manual how to move these lights. Any suggestions how I can easily do this before I start tearing everything apart? When I get this done, painted and installed I will post some photos. Thanks!
You will need to remove the amber turn signals (2 allen bolts each). Once each is off, there is a nut inside but you will need to sacrifice and 9/16 deep socket by slotting it so the power cable will slide into it. Once loose you, can adjust the lights. Hope this helps...
