I am looking for some assistance. I painted the bike this past winter and I am almost finished with the re-assembly. Changed the color from Black Cherry to a Ruby Red Metallic. I am looking for the proper tape to re-attach the fuel tank emblems. I tried the trim tape from the local auto parts store but it is to thin. The stealer doesn’t carry it and New emblems cost $60 dollars a piece. Does anyone no where I can purchase the proper tape to do the job. Thanks for any help.

3M Exterior Double-Sided Tape works like magic. If it's not thick enough, you can double it up. Wal-Mart carries it if you have one in your area.
Usually a good auto parts store will carry an assortment of this double sided tape in different thickness....if not, try an auto body shop, they use that stuff quite often.
