On average what is it that everyone is getting for mileage with their Street Glides?? Looking for info of what you are getting for a gallon of gas, and how far you are able to go before you need to stop for gas. If you have after market items please give a short list of them. You could even say if what you added to the bike made things better or worse too.
Usually ready for fuel after 300KM depending on, trip speed, city driving or a bit of heel hammerin'. Find the gauge to be fairly accurate close to MT. 44 mpg +, 2-up!
actually any mods be they performance or look good mods will reduce milage. About the best thing is no add on chrome and at minimum a stage 1 down load and hi flow with good exhaust and 1 up riding will yield about 41-44 mpg. Anything beyond that and milage will go down.
Bone stock motor
under 600 miles, only getting about 30 Miles a gallon. Part of this is where I live... Lots of stop and go... Hoping the gas mileage improves when the motor settles in. I am hoping for a huge improvement by 1000 miles, or the bike goes... Between this and another radio failure, I am thinking I made a really poor choice of bikes...
Sorry to hear that, and I do hope that it gets better for you.

Mack,
I have to disagree with you here. Everyone knows that there is less wind resistance on chrome so the more chrome you have the better gas milage you will get. And, Oh Yeah, don't forget a good coat of wax........less wind resistance. Now pinstripes are bad. Breaks the flow of the wind on your fender and gas tank. Add lots of chrome. Buff off your pinstripes and give her a good coat of wax and you could be pushing 50 mpg
