Just installed the 1" extenders from SOOS....a member here...and I can't believe how much better they are, just 1" out, and the price is right too!

I got mine from Soos. Great product, great guy to deal with. My only regret is getting the 3/4" instead of the 1". I was worried about dragging the boards but it's not an issue. And, not trying to stir anything up, and it's just my opinion, but with the price you pay for the quality product from Soos versus making something on your own, unless you have lots of time on your hands and just wanna dabble, drop the coin and order from Soos.
