A Note to ChooChoo
Just take the following suggestion for all it is worth...the last thing you need to do is to let these dealers ever touch your bike(s) for any reason. You have no clue what they might do to it while not in sight.

part of my request if I win is to have a third dealer do the warranty work.
The dealer that is working with me by making the offer, is actually pretty nice.
I think they just let profits get in the way of doing a good thorough honest
exam, diagnosis and evaluation of the original problem. They rushed it in and out
and just assumed by doing the M1185 injector update the problem was fixed.
But he did put me out by refusing to communicate with me and produce the requested documents.
But he changed his tune when a court ordered the documents be produced.
He played the odds, and when no longer in his favor cut his losses.
Now that he knows, I know how to dot my "i"'s and cross my "t"'s I think I could work with
him again.
Told him I would be willing to buy parts from him in future, but explained the retail cost vs
Zanottis and Chicago Hd. I would expect some kind of discount on at least major items.
He agreed to that too.
Maybe it helped that they got a new general manager in.
And maybe it helped because there has been a down turn in the market. Who knows!
will talk to him again later next week.
