Anyone mind picking one extra and sending it to Finland...We never get anyfree stufflike that here.
I was visiting Orlando after DBW and picked some parts(BB kit etc....)from local dealer and saw that they offered somekind of tool roll(worth $75)for every purchase over $300. Needless to say I was quite happy to receive one(well, actually two after some convincing that I bought $900 worth of parts from they shop earlier that week, I gave the other one to my friend. They only had one tool roll when I got mine the day before), here in Finland I have never seen anything like that offered, if you are lucky you can get a cup of coffee...
I was in my local shopon Mondaylooking at bikes for my wife and planning to pick up a couple of things for the RKC. I had my printed coupon and asked about the gator and was told by the salesman that they were out. He then went on to tell how they had to buy them and they only purchased 30 or so as everyone just comes and scarfs up the promotional stuff. According to him these Harley promotions are such a bad deal as they cost the dealer and they get nothing out of it. I told him I guess I would just have to go to the other local dealer as I knew they had them the week before when my wife was in looking at bikes. I then rode to the other store, dropped some coin onthe chrome and picked up the free gator. I will probably still get her bike from the first dealer as they have treated me well in the past but his attitude did not set well with me.
I printed mine a while back, went to the local dealer and was told they did not participate, this is dealer in Macon, Ga. Of course I was not expecting them to. No surprise there.
Of course I do not buy from them unless I have to, or to spend my cash rewards.
When you look stealership up in the dictionary, that is their picture.
Was at the HD dealer with my son for his regulator recall. Was talking to salesman today about them not participating in the free-bee. He said Buell wants them to purchase them for there give away and Buell doesn't do anything for them. As a matter of fact he said they are dropping the Buell line because they just don't sell. Last year they only sold 3 bikes.
I don't think dealers that do not sell Buell are included in this freebie. No matter, I went to my dealer yesterday and they were out of them.
Well I just got back with my free neck gaiter. Had to ride over 200 miles to a different dealership to get it. Actually, I did not have to ride over 200 miles, the dealer is about 30 miles away, but it was such a nice day.
