My '98 RG has the MM EFI. PCIII for the mods, never any FI issues.

I had a '99 RKC with a mild 95" kit that used the M&M system. It worked fine for me. They are a good system, but the Delphi TB is better. If the only thing you are concerned about is the M&M TB, the bike runs good, and you don't have major engine build plans, I wouldn't worry about it. If a radical engine build is in your plans, you may want to find a Delphi equipped bike.

Just my opinion

One thing I remeber from the dealership about MM systems, they like the biger aircleaners from somebody like zippers and the computers will eventually on some of them start to leak and let water inside shorting out the wireing to the fuel pump and requiring replacement of the ECM. We had a few do this, now these tings only went bad when they were wet so some of them we opened up and resealed with silicone and they were fine short term until the new ECM came in and they are about $1000.
