I have been in talks with about 10 dealers about a 2008 Black street glide with all options. The best price I found was MSRP+tax, no set up or delivery fees. I thought that was fair. Today the sales manager calls and offers NADA retail value for my sportster trade (not dealer trade in value) if I buy in March. I get to keep and sell all extrasoff the sportster. Deal or no deal?
Where I live the msrp+tax no setup or freight would be as good as it would get. They won't give a penny above trade in value for a bike. I would have to say go for it.
A good deal is when you & the seller/buyer are both happy. The dealer is obviously happy with the deal he offered you, are you? If so, it's a good deal...............
