Default Front wheel spacers-left and right same or different?

I replaced my front tire a couple of weeks ago and after reassembling it there seems to be more of a drag on the brakes than there was before. I got to thinking are the front wheel spacers the same or did I put them in wrong? It's been too cold that I haven't had a chance to ride yet. Thanks in advance.

Facing the bike from the front, the slightly longer spacer should be on the right side.

Not sure on my SG, but on my Softail they are different. The are marked L and R if you look closly at them. I am 99% sure they are different.

They are different! Check service manual for correct size and where it goes. Don't ride till you get them checked.

Having just replaced the front wheel on my '04 EG, there is a difference. I didn't measure the two, but the plain one goes on the right side of the wheel (left side if facing bike), and the one withthree notches onone side goes on the left side (right side if facing bike) with the notches on the bearing side per the HD '04 SM. Your parts may be different since it's an 03.

ORIGINAL: G Funk

Correct

I guess I've always been a fan of right is right and left is left nomenclature. As I. Sitting on the bike
. Now, yes spacers are different. You can install the wheen without spacers. With rotors in the calipers you can see the spacing is different. It's visibly different.
