Happy Fuelpak owner
I had my 2006 SG in for service for a bad vibration and a recall for a voltage regulator, the vibration turned out to be a colapsed front motor mount at 2100 miles. The mount was replaced at the bike shook more than with the old colapse mount the new part number is the 79D.
The dealer told me that is as good as it gets, Its a HD and they all vibrate![:@]
As I was riding home the tought of selling and moving back to a metric crossed my mind big time.
Waiting at home I had a set of Rinehart slip ons + K&N 3909 high flow AC and a Vance hines Fuelpak.
I took the leap and installed all the parts, the outcome is night and day from stock!
The vibration at idle is better and once the bike is at speed its all but gone. Before you had to be at 3K on the trottle at all times to avoid low RPM surge, now I can ride at any RMP above 2200 without a issue.
The power is very noticable and the Rineharts sound great lots of rumble but I can still here the radio at cruising speed. No delay start issues and not a single pop on decel, so for all you guys on the fence to do a similar upgrade don't hesitate worth every penny.
Ride safe![sm=pcwhack.gif]
