Default Hogpro Wheels

Anyone have any information on Hogpro Wheels? I see they have a two year warranty on the chrome. How is the quality? I called them the other day and talked to them about putting new wheels on my 05 ultra. They suggested 18/18 18x3.50 front 18x4.25 for the rear. for the best all around set up. How was their service, did the order come right away or did it take a while? Any tips on who to talk to and did they give you any kind of discount for being a member here? Looking at the Lemans wheels, front and back and rotors for the front. Will swap the pulley and rotor on the rear. Can't see the rear with the bags.
Thanks for any input you can give me.
Steve

Hey Bobberino,

Those wheels look sharp on your SG. What size wheels did you go with from Hogpro? I was thinking of doing an 18/18 setup like raden.

Hogpro could not have done anything better. I ordered on a Monday, they were atmy door Friday afternoon mounted balanced and ready to go.

I went with the 8 spoke18x3.5 in the front, 18x4.25 in the rear wrapped in Metzler 880's with matching rotors and pulley.

I love the finish and the look.

Kern,
Thats the set up I'm interested in 18/18. How is the ride and the handling of the bike. Do you think I need the matching pulley and rotor on the back. Hogpro said to put the matching rotors on the front and the back would not be seen. What do you think?
Thanks all for your input.

I ended up doing it because I know me. Everytime I looked back there I would have wished I bought them. The guys are right, you really cant see it.....if you are standing on top of it. From a distance, you can see it, sometimes. In the end I knew it would bug me so I went with form over function.

The ride and the handling are better than stock in my opinion.

Good luck with your decision. [8D]

I am not sure about the Wheels that you are looking at, but I can speak for HogPros customer services. They are top notch same as mentioned above I ordered my wheels and they showed up in now time mounted balanced and ready to install. I have had problems with a 360 brake that I custom ordered through them, and even though the vendor has screwed them they have bent over backwards to help me out.

I would recommend them all day long to anyone looking for wheels or brakes.
