I was looking at the parts and access catalog and something caught my eye. The S/E stage 1 air cleaner kit is listed as part number 29773-02C and will fit my 07 RK. Also states that all EFI models need ecm calibration. Here is what caught my attention. When I bought my RK last spring and had the S/E air cleaner kit installed along with S/E slip ons theecm was notrecalibrated, also the part # on my a/c kit is 29440-99D. Does anyone know what a/c kit i purchased and should the bikehave been recalibrated.
The second question I have is. Since then, I junked the S/E slip ons for a set of V&H big shot duals and the V&H fuel pack. Seems to rungood but am concerned about decel popping. I checked the plugs and they looked funny.Black with the tips bright white. I am used toseeing them a consistantlight grey. Should I getrid of the fuel pak and have the race tuner installed?
29773-02C is the 1584 ST 1 EFI KIT (1584 being a 96")
29440-99D fits all 2000-later softail, 1999-later dyna and touring tc88 models except 99-01 EFI touring and 06-07 CVO FLHTCUSE/2. Fits stock, bigbore and flatside carbs
You should've had a fuel management system installed or at least had the HD download to reflash the ECM (not worth it, IMO) Now that you have the Fuelpak it is a mute point.
According to V&H you should be running map FP-0560. Is that what you are running? The SERT will be have more functionality and able to be dyno'd but that's your preference
