Have you had your fuel filter changed in the last month? It is possable that you have a leak inside the tank. The plastic hose from the pump to the filter have also been known to spring a leak. When this happens the fuel pressure to the injectors drops to low and the bike will back fire through the T-body. I just fixed that issue today with my 03. I tested the pressure leaving the tank and it was at 30 psi running and after fixing the problem it was at 56 psi and runnig good.
