Picking up my new bike in a couple of weeks, they left off the tag inserts on the tank emblem (peace officer special edition) which is fine, but the front fender badge is on and was wondering if and how it is possible to remove that?? Heard nightmare stories of peace officer bikes being vandalized, thought if at all possible I would remove the badge. Thanks in advance![/align]

If you heard that "story" from you HD Dealer don't believe it... They just wanted you to change your mind and go with a regular Ultra so that you didn't get your $2,000 discount...
I have had my POSE Road King for about 5 months now... And I haven't had any problems...
Believe it or not... If you are worried about MC's messing with your ride... They won't unless you get into a confrentation... They are actually decent people for the most part... There's only about 1% of them that are real phucking @$$ Holes...
However, if you are persistant on taking it off... I believe its onlyon there w/ 3M double sided tape... I am going to say a blow dryer, some fishing line, and some goo-gone should take care of it...
If you don't want the tank badges, I'll buy them for my '04 FLHTPI, police model EG.
I have several good riding pals who have POSE Ultras that have had ZERO problems--one's an '03 in two-tone blue and it's got about 30K on it and looks like he took delivery on it yesterday.
If having the fender badge is going to play with your head, use dental floss and a bit of heat from a hair dryer.
Have a shield in the center of the fairing, people see it and slow down or pull over to let me by. It can be a real pain. Full compliment of shields on the covers but no issues with anyone messing with my bike.
