Floor board extensions

Bought the extension kit for my RG from Harley Goodies;must say the product is 1st class!!!!! Installed today and went for a cruise around the hood; what I did not realize isthat my HD display stand will not fully retract with the extension kitand I scraped at the slightest turn. Bummed out, so I took the kit off and put it on the shelf next all my other parts that I save.
I felt it would allowed a great riding position!!!
HATE WHEN THAT HAPPENS!

I don't how tall you are, but if you are of average higth and short of inseam like I am
you can raise floorboards up to regain ground
clearance.

Well beemervet,
I have a small garage and need all the space I can squeak out of it. The stand allows the bike stand straight up and keeps it away from my car.
I ride more than most, thats why i have highway pegs!!!
The reason I put this post out there was for information in case someone had the same stand and was thinking about the product. Then they would have some prior knowledge!

Now, I emailed harley goodies and advised them of my situation. What a class act they are; they refunded my money and I did not even ask.
Other people could learn allot about customer service from them.
Hats off to Harley Goodies.

That's top quality service.Youmay want to sell the display stand and get the center stand.

OR... Get rid of those stands.. and invest in a J&S jack or another you can roll around and change your oil, work on the bike etc.

I got floorboard extensions from SOOS a while back and love them.. But they do scrape on a sharp turn, or dip in the road when I am going in or out of parking lots etc.

I am thinking about the floorboard extensions that move them up and forward.

That might get them out of your stands way..
