The covers that come with them will not fit. You can use the stock covers of the bike, but I really don't see that the stock covers do anything for weather proofing. The Kappas Have a fiberglass cone and a rubber surround. How they will hold up in the rain is yet to be seen, my feeling is that they should. And if they won't hold up to weather uncovered, I doubt they would hold up covered. I just wanted to try something different and if it fails I'm only out $60.00. Like I haven't wasted 60 bucks before on my bikes I still have a pair of Hog Tunes in reserve.
O doubt the weather will effect them unless you constantly ride in drenching rain. I suspect that over time they will become discolored though from the sunlight. The RG's have an odd shaped speaker cover so wouldn't look cool like those so I'll likely be keeping my stock covers but those do look pretty cool like that. I might do something like that with mine. Thanks for the pic!
