Cheap GPS mount
Love my Zumo but I didn't care much for the bike mounts that came with it. They push it to far forward.[:'(]
I wanted it closer to the fairing. So I took some 3/8" rod I had lying around and made a mirror mount. Turned out OK and cost nothing. I can live with it.

Nice job. I don't like those mounts either. Glad to see other people making a better mouse trap. I bought an aluminum split clamp collar. It's 1 ID X 2 IN OD X1/2 wide. and welded a 3/8 aluminum rod to it. When done I polished it. Those collars can be bought from mcmaster.com The item # was 8A100. about $5. I'll try to take some pictures of it. Dan
