Hardon-Karman MP3 Question
This may have come up on another threadand I missed it. I have an 06 Ultra. When I put in a MP3 disc of music I burned, it shows the songs only as numbers. If I put it in my wifes 08 Street Glide, it shows, Title and Artist. What's with that? Is there an upgrade for mine, or is it obsolete already? Just wondering;

Be careful which version of update you use. The latest one on the HD website has been known to lower the power output of the stereo, so people are complaining of lower volume levels. If you look on the hogtunes.com site, I think PEZ has saved the older versions which have the MP3 name update you need, but dont lower the power level. I think he recommends version 8.09? The HD site has 8.19 or something.

helped me with my software problem last week he emailed me the older software older than 8.18/ 8.19 (which still shows the song title and artist - for radio stations also,
then i burned it to CD to restore a version older than 8.19
.. you might drop him a line

I got a update from Pez and installed it in my radio and WALA all my issues are GONE!

how do you install the new software if i dont have a laptop and what degree of computer knowledge does one need to complete. in other words im not too confident in doing it my self.

Yes, the instruction are on the hogtunes website. Basically download and save on a CD, put CD in radio....forget the rest, but it's easy.
