Whatever you do. DO NOT PRESS THE RESET BUTTON. I did just last week and the odometer went to zero and 2 guys who said they were from the H-D factory come to my house and took my Ultra Classic back with them saying that since I didn't put any mileage on the bike it was going to someone who deserves it! I am now in litigation with H-D on this issue.

It's the dohickey that will make your 5th gear stop whining and clacking and your bike run 30 degrees cooler! Push away!

This is great! I wish I had asked this question months ago, I've never gotten this much of a response to any question I've asked on HDForum. I am glad to have been a source of amusement to all. I'm serious, in today's worldanytime you can get a good laugh you should.
It getseven funnier, if I remember correctly,'a buddy of mine' told me not to push the button orotherwise I'd lose my total mileage number on the odometer and I'll bet you that SOB is still ROTFLAO.
It just proves your never too old to learn a new trick or be a dumbazz.
BTW, anybody know where I can get thirty-fathoms of waterline?A 'buddy'asked me to get him some.
