This is probably a stupid question, butif I press the re-set button on the trip meteronthe console will it zero my mileage and not be retrievable?I've never had the guts to press it for fear of losing the total miles on the odometer.

Depending on the year and model the wife told me that it will activate the (Blondstar Option) check the Manal on that one to be sure..you may have the depress with Finger less glove option also..so Please refer to the Manual on this one

On my helmet I have a stricker that says "Laugh until you **** yourself", I think I just did.
