There is another SE Ultra scheduled for 07. They run them for 2 yrs before they change. I'm willing to bet that the 2008 SE will be a Roadglide. Hope they do one in orange/black/white again.
The owner of one of the two dealers I frequent has an 06 Roadglide with one of the "Jims" 120 ci motors in it. He is a firm RG person. Last year he had an 05 RG with a 117 ci 2038 cc motor in it. He let me take it out on the interstate and I burried the speedo way past 120 mph. He had a wind deflector like mine on it so I was laying on the tank and holding on to my sunglasses with my left hand. That's right, I was going at least 130 mph riding with only my right hand. The bike was like a bullet with no wobble at all. It was cutting through the air like a jet. The most stable ride I've ever had. I've had my glide over 120 several times with the same results. Don't worry guys, I don't ride like this all the time but when you get on a big inch motor you just gotta let it out of the pasture. The last thing I heard from my dealer when I was pulling out of the lot on his 30+ thousand bike was "Ride It Like You Stole It."
Terry, as usual, I couldn't agree with you more!!!
"The Girls Get Prettier At Closing Time" as the Song Goes and this seems to be the case with the RG. As I learn more about this model and its performance and comfort, its getting a lot more desirable. I've always been sort of a independent, not always going with " THE CROWD" and the RG seems to fit that Catagory too. Hummmm...... hdman
