I spent over a year trying to decide which Harley I wanted. I saw a Roadglide at Laidlaw and loved the fixed fairing. It reminded me of the Kawasaki Police 1000. Talked to all my friends who own Harley's and all of them warned me not to get one. However, after checking further into the Roadglide, and reading numerous reviews, I was sold. I went to my local dealer, Palm Springs Harley, where it turns out the parts manager has a Roadglide and loves it. I had to order the bike in the color I wanted, but could not be happier. This bike rides and handles great. I love my Roadglide.

wonder ? why ? i have them ?

Weet,
You have one of those Rare Ultra Roadglides and all Ultras come with the fairing (plastic) lowers. I have them on my roady too. They are not on in my pictures.

probably without knowing it you cleared up MY question for weet. These RG models are still a "new" thing for me, Im no roadie historian for sure. Like Ross Perot once said, "Im all ears".
OK guys I have a question about your road glides. I just picked mine up last week and love it to death but the mirrors seem to be a bit small for me, no matter how I adjust them I am having problems seeing behind me. Has anyone changed out there mirrors?
