I noticed the protective lowers for our particular models w/frame mounted fairing are not avail. in the p&a catalog. Had mine customized by a local leather& shoe repairman to make do.
This should be without the tourpac installed. Hope ya can make out the fan kit. Seat is Mustang sport touring. Saddlebag lid spoiler kit kinda subtle, doesnt really stand out which is OK by me. Passenger floorboards are in storage where they belong, wife prefers pegs to dig heels in during emergency or panic situations
Thisis my fisrt post, please go easy on me.But if you have any suggestions for my future post I will gladly take the constructive critism.
I graduated up from "01" fxdl lowrider. Towards the end of my first summer I began looking at the RG.It took several test rides and alot of thought because alot of people were saying the RG is an old man bike. I decided to go ahead and make the big purchase. I knew there were some upgrades that i wanted to make right off the git-go. I had first ordered a black RG, then called the dealer back the next day and changed my order to the pearl yellow. I had the 95 kit with 211 cams.power commanders, I had it lowered and crome front end put on with the crome calipers. I opted for the spoke wheels instead of the factory mag wheels. my wife thought that the stock exhaust was too quiet, so i had the rhineharts put on as well. I had several other upgrade parts put on, more than worth mentioning. I thought if i was going to do it I was going to do it right.Everything i did was well worth it. Since I've had mine many of the guys have changed there opinion on the oldman theory, and i know several guys who have purched there own RG's now. It was the best decision i made to buy my RG and Im sure Ill have it for a long time.
Looks like you've already had it out to a rally somewhere. I bet you'll be able tune out the "old man" bike comments pretty easily now! Looks good man.
