Well I got it installed and it sounds good. A lot louder and cleaner. I put in the DCS1202 system.
I ordered the Dummy module bracket to install it like in the picture. But that did not work out. The fairing was hitting the amp and would not go back on. I pushed the amp all the way toward the guages but it still would not go back on.
I had to ditch the bracket and turn the amp sideways on top of the radio. It still fit perfect like this and that made it one inch lower and the fairing like that and went back on.
This was on a 08 Ultra. If there was no CB module than I could have turned it like in the picture. If I would have had another module it would have been a no go. Did the install easily in 2 hours nowires to splice just PNP.
The only negative thing I could say about it is:
The Amp has power when you turn the switch to acc or ignition, even when the radio is turned off. So you can hear some noise coming out of the speakers. But when you turn on the radio the smile gets bigger on your face. So no big deal I never turn my switch unless I am starting it anyway and even if you did not turn on the radio once the engine starts you can not hear it.
Cool, I have one ordered as well, but there back ordered on the wiring harness. Have you tried it out on the road yet?
Yes for about 10 miles then it got dark. I could not hear my pipes or the clattering engine anymore. I am going to call them in the morning just to see what they say about the noise coming out of the speakers when you turn on the ignition just to see if this is normal using high level speaker inputs. I did not get this on my cars using low level inputs.

Same system with the same noise. Never really even noticed until you mentioned it. Come to think of it, it's probably cause I never turn it off...
Thanks for sharing the information....I am very close to getting the same setup....I have also heard that the wiring harness was on back order....Glad to heard of the great improvements. [sm=smiley16.gif] [sm=smiley20.gif]
