Any of the commercial chrome wheel sprays for automotive CHROME wheels will work fine for the initial heay dust and grime removal. I DO NOT use a wheel cleaner I use simple green or S100 on the whole bike including the wheels. But to finish the job you need to do two things. First you should be using either a leaf blower or the actual bike drying blower specifically made for bikes, its about 100.00I think and i guess there are a few. I use my leaf blower. Rinse the bike thoroughlyandblow dry the wheels as best as you can. I finish up with a nicely broken in WET SOFT CHAMOIS !!Next I personally just spray the outer chrome hoops with some windex or invisible glass and just wipe them with a paer towel and get in between most of the spokes where they meet the rim. The bike looks great from any distance away since you can't see the rear wheel much at all except the hoops maybe. and unless the front hub is an absolute mess of grease who the hell can see it with how busy the front end is with the rotors and fender etc. I have a Black EGC with lowers and a 30 minute ride and everythings at least dusty again.I do finish up the painted surfaceswith Meguairs quick detailer and a cotton rag for a streak free finish on theBlack.Unless its strictlya show bike I would say just be reasonable and ride it.

I use a 4" paint brush. Get a good type (not the cheap kind) cut down the bristels some to make it more stiff. Clean with you favorite cleaner. Cuts time way down. The 4" brush will clean several spokes at a time.
That is when I had spokes

...And where we might find one of these thingies????

I market an item called "Clean Wheels to help in the cleaning / maintenance of yourwheels. Using your cleaning solution (I use Westleys) and a tapered bristle brush you will get excellent results. The Clean Wheels allows the rotation of the wheel without having to move the bike 8 times to clean both sides on each wheel.
