Default Dyno tune cost?

For all you guys that have had a dyno tune done on your bikes, what is the average cost of having it done? I put a PCIII on my '05 RK from Fuelmoto and was thinking of having a dyno tune done when I get enough saved up. Do you all think it will be worth it or save the money?

My dealership charges $70 an hour labor for any work they do including dyno tuning. They take about 4.5 hours for a dyno tune.

PCIII cost less to have tuned than SERT's but either way it is worth it I gained 16HP ands 13 Lbs of torque with my SERT and I had a friend gained 12 HP and 11 lbs of torque with his PCIII.
Dyno tunes cost a lot but they are worth it and from what I can tell 4 Hrs is an average.

wow 4 hrs, I always figured the cost was just that the cost, didn't realize they have 4.5 hrs in it. What do they do for 4 hrs, are they really running the bike that long? why does it take for hrs?

I am having mine done next week. They are installing a PCIII and doing the dyno tuning for $625. I thought that sounded pretty fair...any feedback??

The 4.5 hours I mentioned is for a SERT tuning. This includes time to set up things and make several runs. I wasn't actually there to watch, but I was told that it takes that long. They tune the bike through the entire rpm range. If you have true duals, they actually tune each cylinder separately.

$625 fair? The pipes cost almost that much. I don't think so. 4.5 hours at $70 per hours for a sert isn't even that much!!!

4.5 hours is for the labor. The SERT cost another $400 for the part.
