Default Praise for 10" Fast Aire Windshield FLHX

Hey guys,

Just wanted to share that my 10" Fast Aire windshield is fantastic! I'm 6'5 and was definitely not getting enough of a bubble with the stock and after market 8" shield. Came within 4 days of ordering it, was perfectly wrapped for shipping and installed in about 3 minutes. Its my second shield from Fast Aire. Great experience both times

Was riding at freeway speeds (75-80 mph) all day and the shield worked perfectly.

For what its worth...

+1 for Fast Aire. I'm running a somewhat shorter smoked shield. Price and service are first rate. I've seentougher Lexan, but it's still good stuff.

Buckwheat

Any pictures you can share with us? I'm curious to see how this 10" windshield looks on your bike.

It's just a basic 10" shield right? Nothing special about it to help redirect the air is there?

It has a recurve at the top. I have one and love it. I thought the company went out of business? I had a friend say he couldnt get one. I hope they are still in business. I will be looking for a new one when mine gets scratched up.

I thought Fastaire stop making the recurve version and the 10 inch version (as opposed to a shorter one) difference just had to do with the shape of the top...not a recurve. Is this wrong?

You arecorrect swipter, the Fastaire 10" is flat/straight, no recurve. I just installed a 10" tinted on my ultra, nice shield. They were trying to make something called an "aero" but no longer do.
I may try a recurve later on, I beleive Clearview makes those.

Default Make sure to measure.

Measured original 2014 Ultra windshield at 10" purchased the 10" Fast Aire recurve and after install seems a little taller and I think its because of the recurve. Im 5'9" and the original top was just right like below my nose this recurve sits right in my line of sight. Going to see if Fast Aire will exchange for 9"
We'll see how it goes.
