Kuryakyn inner primary cover

Kuryakyn inner primary cover
Got one with the ext for the shifter for Xmas. Installed it and looks nice.
Fired the bike up from it's winter nap and...it rattles. I checked all was snug, checked heat shields etc. took it off, no rattle! Re installed using mofr stick on foam bads in areas that "might" have contacted..still rattles. tried removing the shifter cover..no change it rattles. took it off again..no rattle.
Damn I hate rattles. Do they all rattle at idle, any tips please?

No Rattle here either................over 10000 miles on the bike with it on and no problems at all. I have the front extension kit and the rear extension kit.

What's rattling? the shifter or the primary cover? I've considered one of those covers but if they rattle, forgetaboutit....

For 07 and up, the cover is different, but I ran one on my 07all last summer, no rattles. Since changed over to a chrome primary.
