About 10 to 20 feet from dealership a grin came on my face and I woke up today and I still have it. Might go to Doctor to see if they can remove it. I guess if I go thru with this I am going to have to work on that Hog look. Maybe plastic surgery. [:@]
Only thing holding back is getting good price and to decide to go with Perl Black or Black Cherry. If any one has picture of Black Cherry I would love to see it.
I took to the bike like a Hog in the mud. The bike handle's GREAT and ran GOOD.
Thanks again to everyone that sent replys to the Question. Buy Street Glide ---- or WHat was the name of that other Bike ?
Good luck finding a deal. The best you can expect is MSRP and a discount on merchandise. Here is something else to look at. My dealer sells for $800 over MSRP on baggers and $600 on all other models. However they charge no freight or setup fees which makes their bikes around #20 cheaper than another area dealer that sells for MSRP but charges out the wazoo for freight and shipping. Some dealers will give you up to a 25% discount on all your goodies if you order or buy them at the time you buy your bike. Other dealers will give you a discount for 30 days. Shop around.
The Pearl Black is beautiful and the Black Cherry is also equally as nice with a maroon tint to it. I'm sure you will be able to find some model of HD in both colors to compare.
Oh, and I would recommend the Black Pearl, no wait...the Black Cherry, uhmm...nevermind. They both have a great look to them; just make sure you check them out in the sun before you make your decision. Good Luck!
My signature pic shows what Black Cherry pearl looks like in the sun. My local dealer has a SG in BCP. It looks good but I think I would prefer the Black Pearl on a SG.
FYI I purchased my bike from Barb's HD in NJ. Was charged MSRP, no freight or delivery and n/c for the fuel injection plus I was given a 4 year warranty. Of course I had to add Tax and tags but that was it.
I will get lots of photos this weekend of my brother in laws black cherry SG.
i tolh him i was going to order a black one and he said thats anawesome bike after sitting on one at the dealership. He went to Mother Road OHD and they had a tech that purchased one and put 1200 miles on it. He said he owuld sell it for 18k. It had pipes, sert, and a we bit taller screen. This saved my brother in law over 3-4k cause he did not have to pay taxes, for the pipes, sert and screen. Also not set up etc. He got a great deal.
I went to the same desalerhsip and asked about getting one and they said 400 under msrp. i went to the dealership here( not the main store but the west store) they were the nicest people I have talked too. They said 500 under msrp. Now they might get me on set up and friehgt though.
