05 ultra SE mufflers

My 05 ultra SE has a pc111 with vance & hines mufflers. Is there some other mufflers that are a little quieter that I could use without having to remap.

Sampson has a new slip-on, not sure it goes back to 05. Supposed to be relatively quiet.

Any time you change the back pressure (more restricted mufflers will do that) I would consider a remap.
Yes the older se mufflers are loud. I have them on my 07 ultra for now. I got a set of the newer se touring mufflers and waiting on the tips to come in.

For me they are the best sounding mufflers out there but they are loud.

Do you still have your original CVO mufflers that came on the bike?

I have a set of '06 CVO mufflers with the cats removed, and I think they are someof the nicest sounding "quiet" mufflers out there.

And they look awsome.

thanks for the replies, I,ll check the samson site, I also got another set of mufflers with the bike. I,ll find out if they were the originials. I,ll try to get them to flow with less restriction and see how that sounds, maybe the bike will run crappy, we,ll see.
