Low side most of the time but will not hesitate to use the high side if more convenient at that moment.

High side. believe it or not if you are short of inseam the high side is easier. You are closer to the bike when your leg has to be at its highest point. If you mount from the left your are farther from the highest point, trig at work. I am a motor and safer to dismount and mount from the right as it makes you natuarally look behind you at on coming traffic.
