As you can see by my signature, I have a 2k Softail Standard. I am out in Tucson, AZ. with the Air Guard for two weeks. A good friend and I rented a couple of HDs this last saturday, I was on a Street Glide, he was on a Fat boy. (His bike is an 86 Kaw!) He fell in love with the HD, (Like DUH,,,)

I have been looking at Street Glides every time I go into the dealer, looking on ebay ect... Just drooling really.

Now I have a problem,,, I WANT ONE! ROTFLMAO,,,, I think the Street Glide is will be my next HD for sure. And hopefully not in the to far future!

We rode out through Gates Pass, and the Saguaro National Park, then back down I-10 to exit 248, and across the north side of Tucson. Then UP Mount Lemon, to about 8,500 ft. (In "T" shirts only,, sheesh) It was a tad chilly, but we toughed it out! LOL
The ride was incredible, and I enjoyed every mile on that FLHX.

 

I moved from a Heritage to a streetglide and glad i did. You will also be glad you did.

 

With the Air Guard, do you have time for a scooter? I have not ridden the street glide. I love the king classic. not too heavy, not too light. The only thing I wish I had is speakers and mp3 player, but I will have that soon enough with the zumo550 and blue tooth.

MOST, of the ppl that have ridden my s glide have either bought one or want to buy one. I can't imagine it getting any better than this.

 

I traded in my RK Classic for a 08 SG. Best thing I ever did, I'm really happy!!!

 

Just get the f-ing Ultra
