i have an ultra and ride with a buddy that has a road glide...same riding style same engine set up...i get 43 mpg and he gets 50+ mpg and it corners like a mother...going rg next time.....before you buy the flhx try the rg!

Keep your Softail, and then get the SG. Then you have a choice of what and when to ride each. If that is not possible I would say SG, or maybe the Road King Classic........[sm=icon_cheers.gif]

 

If a one day rental has you that worked up over a Street Glide, for God's sake don't rent a Road Glide!................ At least not till you have the down payment..........

 

Rotflmao,, yea guys, I guess if the one day rental got me this excited, I am in trouble.
I had been looking at them, the ride just reinforced what I thought.

I don't know, guess I am not ready for an Ultra yet. I still want a bit of a "Sporty" feel, and the FLHX seems to fit the bill. I also have looked at the RKs but really like the SG,, so that is probably what I will go for.

DM is a pretty neat place, if I was active duty, I imagine it would be a great place to be stationed.
