Hey Hey let me make it perfectly clear when I bought my 07 Ultra 100% stock I loved it and if it were still stock I would love it...however its a Harley and I just can not keep my grubby paws off it...of course this forum is absolutely no help...
Ifya ain't going to personalize it somehow then it just another Harley and I just could not have that.
No you aren't the only one .The only thing I am thinking of changing are some SE PIPES, I actually thought I was the only on e lol
Great choice of color there - and I like how your pic honors your lady, too. I put V&H pipes and SE AC on mine, but the rest of the motor will likely remain stock. Seems pretty strong as is. Here's mine, prior to any work.
Stock is fine. I also own and ride a 450 pound, high horsepower sportbike, so I didn't buy a 750 pound Harley for the power or speed. That said, I'm perfectly satisfied with the get up and go on my stock King. I will probably change the air cleaner and put a slip-on pipe on it just to make it sound better and un-lean it, but I really don't care if it adds any power. I guess I've never had so much fun going so slow!
I'm with you for now... I'm just adding some pipes for sound and I'm going to ride it that way for this year. Maybe next year I'll start to do some performance stuff but for now... my 07 SG feels like a rocket ship compared to my 80ci Heritage Softail.
