Default Adjustable Passenger Floor Boards

I was looking in the manual and it says the passenger floor boards are adjustable. I assume it means higher or lower. Has anyone made the adjustment? Is it just take out the bolt, move the floor board up or down and tighten? It seems like I'm missing something. This is to easy.

Why does everyone want to make everything difficult? Its as easy as that, take out bolt, reposition floorboard, put bolt back in and tighten. No rocket scientists needed.

Its just that easy, but if you add the adjustable Kuryakin pegs the must be in the middle position.

That's not quite true Kowboy. It does say in the Kuryakyn Pegs instructions that the footboard should be in the mid position, but I have my passenger footboards in the top position with the Kuryakyn pegs installed and they work perfectly. Pegs rotate into all set positions no problem.

PS No need to be so harsh blueknight, we are all here seeking good advice and supportive feedback for the many issues that concern owning a HD motorcycle. If we want to be put down we can find less public places to do it. Just my .02.

I did not take it as a put down. It's just that I've been in the middle of repairing something that was supposed to be staight forward and found out that it took me two days to do the job. I am sceptical of something that sounds easy and can be done quickly. That is why I asked for an opinion from someone with experiance. Thanks.
