Hey dudes! Got an 06 Roadglide. Was going to buy a full face helmet. The vibration on any helmet I tried gave me a splittin headache. So can you tell me your thoughts on which is a better alternative, Clearview or Klock Werks. I am 6' 1" and see about an inch over the top right now. Was thinking about getting a Clearview 1" shorter. Whadaya think?
Been There... I'm 6'4" - What I ended up doing was lowering the rear (1st time with a lowering cam) - Lowed the front Progressive.. I tried HD Lower windsheild - Didn't like it was ok in town but No Good @ Highway Speeds - Went to a Clearview GT Small (1" lower - 2" wider).. Wasn't as bad as the OEM or HD Short... I put on a CORBIN Dual Tour - That lowered me and moved me back - Had already changed the handle bars to Wild 1's Mini Apes - Had on Kuryaskyn Highway Pegs (I use the HW Pegs like forward controls) - Still got a bit of air nothing it was at the start - And so far buy sitting back in the saddle w\backrest and the Apes which I adjusted to allow me to bend just a little forward... I can live with the air flow @ 85+
Summer I ride with a Beanie Helmet and winter I use a FF Modular
I'm sure the FASTAIRE is a high quality low price windshield.... but for him to use it, he'd have to have a bat wing fairning.... which is of no help what so ever
I just ordered a Corbin seat from Dennis Kirk ( on closeout - heated with shipping $320) i'm hoping to enjoy being lower on the bike.... I got a CEE Bailey stock height, but wider... a little better.. not much
