Just put a windshield bag on my 04 FLHR. Took off for the first ride with it, and it started rattling. it's hitting the windshield and rattling when I am going between 0-35 mph. When i press against it to contact the windshield, it stopsAnyone have this problem before, or a remedy to fix it? I wouldn't worry about it, but it's to the point that when I am coming to a stop, people are looking at me thinking that my bikes gonna fall apart. Thanks for the help!
Went to Wal-Mart and bought the little clear rubber bumpers that you use for cabinet doors or under glass top tables. They are about 1/4" and I put em on the windshield where the bag was making contact. They don't stand out and the people I have showed em to didn't notice them at first. The rattle is most likely from the hasp. Next time you hear it, reach up and turn the **** that you use to open it and see if it stops. Mine only does it at idle every now and then. Not sure how I'm gonna fix that, though. Hope this helps!
I tried Velcro and rubber bumpers but no matter what it still rattled. I finally took it off. I made mention of it sitting in my garage collecting dust and another member on this board wanted to know if I'd sell it. We agreed on a price and I couldn't be happier without it.
It also shook at idle so bad it drove me nuts and it scratched the heck out of the windshield too.

This is about where I am, at the moment. May give mine to the wife for her Vulcan.
