When you park it and the engine is hot, the fuel in the tank heats up and vents the vapors between the rear wheel and the back jug. It's normal. Don't worry about it.
I think this is normal (on the 08's anyway). Check the left side where the swing arm attach's to the frame, you should see a vent line hanging there. I think it's the fuel line vent. Mine and my buddies 08 sg have the same line and after riding for a while, we both get a little wet fuel on the ground from that line.
other than an external leak at a fuel line, I would check the fuel tank vent to the
small charcoal canister under the seat in the well in front of the battery
it may have become disconnected or even broke.
my o7 does it to still stock and hot (but not for long) dealer says normal as expected think its vapors maybe coming from the new style overflow on the 07.
