I've got them on my '07 Street Glide, and I think the sound is just about perfect. I leave for work around 6:00AM and I wasn't looking for something that would wake the entire neighborhood when I pulled out - these fit the bill nicely.
The Hot Bike Baggers inaugural issue had a pipe comparison, and these pipes posted the highest improvement in torque and HP with (supposedly) only a 2dB increase in sound over the stock pipes. I can't believe they're only 2dB louder myself, but I think they sound good.
