You'll slow down once that rear tire loses contact with the road and you go down... best advise is to slow down. Ask me how I know...
What he said...I've seen it happen to a good friend recently and he was traveling sloooooow. It ain't pretty seeing your buddy lying in the street.

If you drad too hard the back wheel will kick out and you'll most likely go down.

118 curves at the dragon, 118 scrapes on the running boards.

See pic below.

18" wheels front and back will give you a little more lean angle but they raise the bike up a little, not sure if your inseem would notice.

Do you have a lowering kit on the rear? I did, and I caught my left footboard in a 90* turn. It jacked my rear tire off the road and I lost all traction and control. $5500. in damage, small tear on the left cuff of my riding jacket and a beautiful 6" diameter raspberry on my left thigh/hip. I was lucky that I got up and walked away. When I got it home the lowering kit came off. I don't scrape now and I have 1" footboard extenders on.

Have you tried sliding to the in side, like a racer would do, and setting the bike upright. They use to call that leaning off, I use to do that with my old LowRider.

You could buy the forward control kit. That will eliminate the problem as well. I rub mine from time to time and get nervous when I do. I raised the boards all the way up and removed the extenders but I have lowered the bike quite abit. I am considering the foward controls for this very reason. That and I want more leg room. Just a thought.

Probably the same idea.On a right hand sweeper for example:get to the left side of the lane before getting to the corner and look ahead to try and spot the middle of the turn and be at the white line area at this point(far right). Then let the bike slowly come up closer to left side of the lane near/at the end of the curve.this will cut down the overall angle of the turn.If you want to drive "aggressively" through the twisties on a bike bike w/boards this will help.If not, slow down, raise suspension, get a dyna or something along those lines.Toby
