Default Front lowering kit

OK, here's my problem. I have an '08 Street Glide and would like to lower the front end with either the Harley kit or the Progressive kit. My question is - how difficult is it for a person of average mechanical skills to do this himself. I have done routine maint on my other bikes - oil changes, bars, rear wheel change, EZ pull clutch kit, etc. Would I be able to do this myself and does someone have a pic of the "special tool" that can be made to install the springs without killing myself?

Thanks!

Default RE: Front lowering kit

Just did the 2" progressive lowering kit on my 07 RoadGlide and never used any special tools. It is not a hard job to do at all, just need a chunk of 2" pvc pipe to install the new seals.
