installing floor board extensions without a jack?
I did mine by using a few pieces of 2x4 lumber stacked on each side of the bike.
I think it was 3 or 4 pieces under the right side , and then 3 or 4 pieces under the left.
We put the 2x4 pieces under the right side of the frame , and then my brother pulled it to the right , and I put the other 2x4's under the left frame
to just get any stress off the jiffy stand.
Just need to hold it steady till you're done with the left side.

No jack for the floor board extension here, didn't want to take the time after I got them on o remove it from the jack, wanted to ride and check it out to bad. Any way you have to watch out for Soos items he sells, they fit so good they almost put themselves on, really great fit and workmanship, he's a great fellow too. You'll have no trouble pulling them on without the jack.
I have my bike up on a jack because the rear wheel is off. I decided, among other things to install the floorboard extensions and the jack is not in the way. Definatly gave me more room to swing the wratchet.

I used a jack since Ihave one in order to take the weight off of the Jiffy stand and the jack didn't get in the way at all. If you have a jack I would use it because it's thesafest way to do it. I used the floorboard extensions from HarleyGoodies and they were top notch and went on easy.
