Default PC III Install Question

I have a 08 SG, with ABS. I bought a PCIII from Eastern Perf. and they programmed the map for me prior to shipping. I installed the the PCIII according to directions for bikes equipped with abs. Is there anything else I have to do? I saw something in another post where they were talking about setting the throttle to zero or something to that effect. Do I have to do that or is that ll in the map they set me up with? I also tried to hook my laptop to the PCIII but it is not showing it as being connected to my laptop. Any thoughts or help on this would be greeatly appreciated since its saturday and EP is closed.

Thanks!

Yes you need to set "0" throttle position. It is a good idea to set both "0" and 100% throttle positions. If you do not have the instructions, they are available at the PCIII web site. The USB connection sometimes is hard to get all the way in. Be sure you are getting that connection. May take a little harder push than you might think.

Ride Safe,

Mike

Ok, here is what I did. I connected my laptop to the PCIII. I got the map to show like it was supposed to. I then hit theoptions to set the throttle. When the bike was at 0 throttle, (idle) I hit the button to set that. Is that all I had to do?
