I havetaken my RK up to around 108ish, what gear are you in when attempting this max speed run? I know when I shift into 6th my acceleration approaches 0, but in 5th its still has power to pull. Not sure, I don't really like these speeds so I don't stay there very long.

LOL
The Ultra and most likely most or all of the HD's engines are not able to pull that hard stock whether it is a 96" or 103" or 110"
There is only so much power available. How can you expect lets say 75hp engine to push a 850 lb bike more than 105mph? Give me a break will ya. If you want to cruise 105mph why did you get a Ultra? They are designed for touring and comfort.
Thats why I have 3 bikes
A touring bike 42mpg
A cruiser w/105 hp and 120 tq. 34mpg
a gas saver 60mpg
I continually cruise my Road Glide at 95-105mph. That's why I bought it! Because it is big and made for cruising. High speed cruising & comfort. Try running down the roadall day at100mph on your 105hp hot rod. Like the one guy said " he's in Germany". Over there you'll get runover at 70mph.

Thats my opinion, something doesnt smell right
Buddy of mine had the same complaint about his 07 Ultra. I suggested he down shift to 5th gear until he reached the speed he was looking for.
Ok, not to point fingers, call anyone out or call anyone a liar..............BUT...
I had wrung the crap out of my 93 Sporty - 105 mph.
I have run the crap out of my Dyna -110 mph.
5th on the Dyna is what will get me to terminal velocity - 6th is just too tall for the availabe horsepower.
I have ridden many Harleys and ride with a mixed bunch
1. '88 1340 Evo Heritage - 105 mph
2. '2000 Softail Standard, 95" - 110 mph
3. 07 883 - 95 mph
4. '87 Sporty with 100,000miles on it (I have known this bike for 10 years) 105 mph (was never better with lower mileage either).
I don't think there is any funny business with HD for speed restrictions, but if your bike is stock or stage 1, do NOT expect more than about 110...
I've been to 112 on my 07 SG. And if I had waited long enough..I'm sure it could have pulled a few more.
I know this really doesn't add anything to the conversation, but I wanted everyone to know anyway.. You know, for kicks.
ya know i'm not chicken or anything .but.everytime i crank her up to the warp or triple didget speeds
i start thinking harley wobble for some strange reason.does anyone else think this way?
by the way i get about 105mph on my stock 05 rkc
And the next one of you that does something stupid like going over 100 just to see if it will do it might end up pushing up daisies. It doesn't take much.
If you really want to go that faster than that, buy a crotch rocket for crissake!
