Has anyone drilled a hole in the turnbuckle on the Windshield Bag so they could put a small lock on it? I know it wouldn't keep a thief out of the bag, but it would keep honest people honest, especially when you are only leaving the bike for a few minutes.
No, I have not put the locks on the saddlebags yet. But that is on the list as well. Did you do the install yourself? I just keep EZPass and my reading glasses (sucks getting old) in the windshield pouch, and don't want to have to stick those in a pocket when I park the bike for a couple of minutes.
And I do keep insurance paid, and I know if someone really wants to, they will get that stuff anyway, but if I can keep the honest people honest for a few moments while I dash into a store. And I am not so worried about the things to stay home, but if I can take some easy, prudent steps to discourage the majority of minor theft, why wouldn't I?
